Aptify Users Conference Australia 2017 (AUCA2017) is over for another year! Thank you to everyone who attended! Without the fantastic support of our delegates, this event would not be possible. It was great to reconnect with some familiar faces and meet some new ones. I hope that over the course of the day you made some new contacts and had an overall great time.
Conference season is upon us, and, as I do annually, I am attending a slew of events, forums, panels, and think tanks. This conference season I am thrilled by the changes I am seeing across the events space that are inclusive and promote women (shout out to CommBank’s new initiative Women in Focus), but I am still troubled by the research that fills my news feed.

Welcome to the first day round-up of the AusAE Conference and Exhibition 2017 (ACESYD17). My job at the ACESYD17 conference (aside from hosting Stream B and the ACE Learning Zone) will be to give you a round-up of the day’s activities so you never miss a beat of the packed ACESYD17 program.

Last week Team Aptify was in celebration mode as we launched the newest version of the Aptify association management system. Product launches are a big deal for our organization, representing the culmination of years of hard work in one beautiful product. And, as you can imagine, as the Product Marketing Manager, the launch is a pretty important time for me, as my job is to make the product and all its great features shine. So throwing a big international party was both a pleasure and a great opportunity to use some new marketing tools.
